Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette

Hello there,  

     I wanted to stop by and introduce the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette.  This is limited edition and will sell out for sure.  Urban Decay eyeshadows are one of my favorite formulas.  I have used the company for years and they have never been better!  This palette is no exception.  As a proud owner of their 15th anniversary palette, I was skeptical about picking this up.  I am sure glad I did though.  This palette is different than any other UD palette I own.  It's incredibly wearable considering the three matte shades and the neutrals.  It is also very bold and fun at the same time.  Pick it up ladies!  I promise you won't be disappointed.  I look forward to sharing the other things I picked up from the brand for the holidays!  Here are some of my swatches and a simple work look I put together.

Sephora Favorites Superstars Holiday Set... The perfect gift!

Walk, no run, to Sephora to pick up their latest Sephora Favorites Superstars set for the holidays.  This is an AMAZING value!  It all started when I was going to repurchase my trusted Origins GinZing eye cream.  Then I came across this set which includes a full size eye cream, Stila waterproof liquid liner, my favorite Smashbox BB cream (which I needed to repurchase soon) and more.  The rollerball of Flowerbomb sealed the deal for me, I have been lusting for this fragrance for over a year and haven't picked it up.  Here are some pictures in case you need more convincing!

A Little Fall Inspiration

Hello there, 
    Fall is my favorite season.  Although I'm from the south and we don't experience "real" drastic seasonal change I still enjoy the fall outfits, makeup, football games, television shows, and most importantly the decor.  Here is how I have embelleshed our home for the season.

Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove

Hello there,
   I am not one to fall for gimmicky things but I must admit that I have contemplated buying this glove since it first came out a few months back.  Washing my makeup brushes is one of the most tedious things for me to do.  I have so many brushes that I end up putting dirty ones aside and use clean ones.  Next thing I know, I have over 50 brushes that need to be washed.  I have always used the good old baby shampoo and sponge trick, which took me forever.  So, logically, when I saw this product I was immediately intrigued.  I must admit that I love it!  It really makes washing brushes quicker and the best part is that it is less messy and that I only end up wetting one hand.  Check out my first impression and use!

Welcome!

Just wanted to take some time to thank you for stopping by my blog!  I have been obsessed with anything makeup, fashion, trends related since I was a child.  Those who know me well know that I love trying new looks and styling outfits.  I remember looking at magazines in middle school and recreating makeup looks with my drugstore makeup.  Today, not much has changed... except for the fact that my pastime now includes high end products as well (poor wallet)!  I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with the beauty/fashion community.
